Video UniverZuil

The first Univer Columns were conceived and made more than 20 years ago. The reason was a bank's request to find a solution to the fact that visitors regularly forgot to hand in their cards upon departure. Manufacturers of access control systems were unable to provide a solution that met customer requirements, so Automatic Signal started working in its own workshop. It became a sleek column with a swallowing mechanism that can not only take the card, but also checks whether it is valid. If the pass is invalid, it will not be confiscated and the exit will not open.

Hundreds have been installed over the course of twenty years, both by Automatic Signal itself and by other installers. One of the major advantages is that the column can be used in combination with almost all access control systems.
